There are 31 public access points on the Gulf side of Estero Island.
The Town maintains 25 public beach accesses on the Gulf side of Estero Island. These access points (#11 through #36) are marked with signs along Estero Boulevard. Most, but not all, have metered parking spaces with some having Handicap access. The Town signs are prominent and denote whether parking and/or Handicap access is available.
In construction zones the signs may be temporarily removed.
Lee County maintains six beach accesses, #37 thru #43, (North of the ‘Sky Bridge’) that allow for foot traffic only to the Gulf of Mexico as there are no parking areas provided. There are no amenities, only trashcans. These accesses are open 7 a.m. to dusk seven days a week.
Public beach access points are for everyone’s enjoyment. Please be respectful of private property owners.
